Both Annabella and I were equally excited when we received "Perfect Snow" by Barbara Reid
The 32 page book is filed with the excitement of the first day of "perfect" snow. Join Scott and Jim as they wake to the first "perfect"day of winter snow, make it to school and wait for the time Recess hits so they can finally enjoy it! While Scott is focused on a snowmen, Jim is determined to make the "World's Greatest Snow Fort"

Who will succeed in the challenge? Will either boy be able to finish their projects? Be sure to read "Perfect Snow" and join in all the winter fun!
Annabella and I both enjoyed this book, it is full of excitement, and it is written in a way that makes reading it in an exciting and suspenseful way easily done. The art is adorable, done using Plasticine modeling clay, it gives the pages a 3D feel and Annabella seemed sure that she could pick the characters right out of the book. I really appreciate when the artwork in a children's book is done so creatively.
The book is recommended for ages 6-9; grades 1-4. Annabella is 2 and she didn't have any problems staying interested for the whole book!
The Book is available through Albert Whitman Publishing, its hardcover 32 pages and is priced at $16.99
I received a free copy of "Perfect Snow" for this review, all opinions are my own. I did not receive any cash payment for this review.
